Backup: two routes that work together
Standard backup in the cloud: An optional add-on – in Platform Vienna we back up your cloud VMs and keep them for 7 days. Restores run in our cloud – the whole VM, a new one if you prefer, or selected individual files. Billing follows the storage booked for your Platform: €25 per TB.
Managed Proxmox Backup Server: Your own datastore – here €25 per TB buys a real datastore TB that you size yourself. Use it to back up the Proxmox VE on your own premises to us – encrypted with your own key before the data leaves your building (zero-knowledge); retention and replication are yours to set. If the worst happens, every KVM-based VM backup starts as a cloud VM in Platform Vienna at the click of a button.

noVNC straight in the browser, with a live preview of your VMs. You reach the machine even when the operating system has stopped responding.
Snapshots
A snapshot before every update: you capture the state of your VM with one click – and roll it back just as quickly when you need to.

When demand grows, you add cores, RAM and storage yourself in the customer area – without a ticket and without a setup fee, linear at the same unit price as on day one.
Verify jobs with SHA-256
Every block carries a SHA-256 checksum. Verify jobs you schedule yourself recalculate it – and prove that your backup is intact before you need it.
Zero-knowledge from your own premises
When you back up from your own site to the Managed Proxmox Backup Server, encryption already happens at your end – with your key, before the data leaves your building. Only you can restore these backups, we cannot.
3-2-1 replication in self-service
Straight out of your PBS datastore: your own remotes, pull or push, on a schedule you set. You build geo-redundancy yourself – the target is a second site or your own company data center.
