Managed Webserver · shared or dedicated

Web hosting from Austria – ready to go.

Company website, WordPress blog or online shop: your sites run in their own isolated environment – with automatic SSL, daily backups and the tools developers actually use. We run the server, web server, PHP and database; you take care of your website.

Web hosting made in Austria – your data stays exclusively in Austria, backups included.

SSL included

Daily backups

One-click WordPress

PHP 8.3 & 8.4

Cancellable monthly

Included in every plan

Everything a website needs – no add-on bundles

Shared or dedicated, the feature set is the same. You only choose how much power sits behind it.

Automatic SSL certificates

Every domain, subdomain and alias gets a Let’s Encrypt certificate – issued, installed and renewed without you lifting a finger. HTTPS is the default, at no extra cost.

Daily backups, self-service restore

Every night we back up files and databases to a separate backup server – 14 daily and 8 weekly versions. You restore or download them yourself, and before an update you can take an extra backup with one click.

One-click WordPress & more

Install WordPress, Joomla, TYPO3, Shopware, Nextcloud and MediaWiki with one click – hardened, with cron and caching preconfigured. Updates for core, plugins and themes start with one click, and we can remind you by email.

Built for developers

nginx or Apache with .htaccess, selectable per website. SSH with keys, Composer, Git and wp-cli, Git deploy on push and cron jobs. Besides PHP 8.3 and 8.4 you can run Node.js and Ruby on Rails. Files via SFTP, FTPS or the browser file manager with a code editor.

Domains, DNS and redirects

Your own domains and subdomains, unlimited aliases, 301 and 302 redirects. If the domain is with us, we set the DNS record automatically. Every site has a preview address – test before the domain moves.

Isolated and monitored

Every account runs in its own isolated environment with fixed CPU and RAM limits. We check your websites every two minutes – if one goes down, you get an email.

Shared or dedicated

Two models, one platform

Both offer the same features. The difference: you share a web server – or you get your own.

Example configurations

Three examples to check the maths

Each example is a real configuration in the shop, net per month. Plans start at €3.75 – you set every value yourself.

Company website

WordPress site, blog or landing page

  • Shared Webhost
  • 1 CPU core, 2 GB RAM, 10 GB storage
  • 1 website, 1 database

€5.20 per month

The maths: €2.25 + 2 × €0.85 + €0.75 for 10 GB + €0.25 + €0.25.

Your own web server

Busy shop, many projects, high load

  • Dedicated Webhost
  • 4 dedicated CPU cores, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB storage
  • 1 website, 1 database – expand as needed

€57.90 per month

4 × €6.75 + 8 × €2.55 + 100 × €0.10 + €0.25 + €0.25.

What we take care of

Server, operating system, web server, PHP, MariaDB, SSL certificates, backups and platform monitoring. You don’t have to administer a server or install system updates.

What stays with you

Your website itself: content, plugins, themes and your application’s updates – you start them with one click, and we remind you. Mailboxes are not included; for those there is Managed Zimbra Hosting.

Frequently asked questions

Web hosting explained in five minutes

Shared or dedicated – which do I need?

For most company websites, blogs and WordPress installations the Shared Webhost is enough: you share the web server with other customers, each in their own isolated environment with fixed CPU and RAM limits. You need a Dedicated Webhost if a shop gets a lot of traffic, many projects run under one roof or you don’t want to share performance – then you get your own virtual web server with dedicated CPU cores and dedicated RAM. The feature set is the same in both cases.

Is this WordPress hosting?

Yes, among other things. You install WordPress with one click, hardened and with cron and caching preconfigured. You log in to the WordPress admin straight from the customer area, without a password. Updates for core, plugins and themes start with one click, and if you like we remind you by email at most once a week. For fast pages there is the page cache and, optionally, Memcache and Redis as an object cache.

How do I move my existing website?

Upload your files via SFTP, or import an archive (.tar.gz or .zip) and a database dump (.sql) directly in the customer area. Use the preview address to test the website before the domain moves – only then do you switch the DNS record. If the domain is with us, that takes one click. We are happy to answer questions about the move personally.

Will my .htaccess work – nginx or Apache?

Both, selectable per website. nginx is the default. Switch on Apache mode in the customer area under the website’s settings – your .htaccess rules then work as usual, and WordPress writes its own permalink rules. Only php_value and php_flag are not supported there; set PHP options via .user.ini or in the customer area. Nextcloud, Shopware and MediaWiki run on nginx only.

Are mailboxes included?

No. Your websites send email – from contact forms or as order confirmations, for example – through our mail relay: PHP mail() works without any setup, up to 50 emails per day. More volume and SMTP credentials for your own applications come with the email sending add-on. Mailboxes with calendars and contacts come with Managed Zimbra Hosting.

Can I order a domain at the same time?

Yes. Order a new domain in the shop along with your plan, or use one you already have. If the domain is in our DNS, we point it to your web server automatically. If it is elsewhere, you verify it once with a TXT record and enter your web server’s IP address. Prices and extensions are listed under Domains & DNS.

Where is my data stored?

Exclusively in Austria – the websites, the databases and the backups too. Everything is run by an Austrian limited company with no US parent company and jurisdiction in Austria. We provide a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR; how to get one is explained in the support section.

Web hosting or cloud server – what is the difference?

With web hosting, we run the entire server up to PHP and the database; you only take care of your website. A Cloud Computing Server is a virtual machine with full root access on which you set up and maintain the operating system and software yourself. If you want to run websites, web hosting is the right fit; if you need your own services alongside the web server, choose the cloud server.

Can I book more power later?

Yes. You increase CPU, RAM, storage, websites and databases by upgrading in the customer area. Storage grows online; it cannot be reduced.

Is there a minimum term or a setup fee?

No. Web hosting is cancellable monthly and there is no setup fee. Pay annually and the year costs eleven monthly prices instead of twelve.
