What is UCS?
Univention Corporate Server (UCS) is a Debian-based enterprise Linux operating system developed specifically for professional use in companies. It allows server applications and entire IT infrastructures to be run economically and managed easily – ideal for organizations of any size that value openness, integration and control.
With UCS you get a powerful platform for:
- Central identity and access management
- Domain and directory services (Active Directory compatible)
- Integration of numerous open-source applications through the Univention App Center
- Simple management through a user-friendly web interface
In the myDataCenter.at dashboard you can now choose between UCS version 5.2 and version 5.0 when installing your virtual server (VM). That way you decide which version fits your requirements best.
